Q1. Why should we do business with Cartridge World?

Q2. Is there a downside to using a refilled cartridge?

No, but there are many benefits to gain by using a refilled cartridge. Not only are you saving money, but also helping the environment while still maintaining a high quality product.

3. How much money will I save by refilling?

The savings will change depending on which printer you own. As a rule of thumb, you can expect refills at Cartridge World to be about 50% less than the cost of a new cartridge.

4. Are your inks as good as the original inks?

We use premium inks that have similar chemical and physical properties as the original inks. Our inks are specially formulated for your printer, and there is different ink for almost every cartridge.

5. Are recycled laser cartridges inferior to a new cartridge?

Not at all. There should be no difference in print quality of all our cartridges. Like we do with ink refills, we use the best toner specifically designed for each individual laser cartridge available, and replace all wearing parts in the toner cartridge. The extensive quality and testing procedures, even before the cartridge leaves the premise, ensure best print quality every time backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

6. How much time does it take you to refill my inkjet cartridge?

Obviously all cartridges are slightly different, but typically it takes between 5 and 10 minutes. All cartridges are fully tested and the print heads ultrasonically cleaned. If for any reason the cartridge does not work properly, there is no charge. We offer you a ‘while you wait’ service, when possible.

7. Will using refilled cartridges void the printer manufacturer’s warranty?

Cartridges sold, refilled or remanufactured by Cartridge World meet or exceed the performance of original cartridges. Printer manufacturers will almost always advise you against refilling. The simple reason for this is that manufacturers would like you to buy their expensive replacement cartridges and accessories. In any case our warranty extends to your printer on any valid claim

8. How many times can a cartridge be refilled?

We have seen evidence of a Canon BC-02 being refilled over 20 times. Typically we believe a black cartridge can be refilled about 6 or 7 times. This all depends on the type of cartridge and how well you take care of your cartridges. (See Care of Inkjet Cartridges for more information)

9. Why is it that I was able to have my cartridge refilled by another operator cheaper than the Cartridge World price?

There is always someone who provides a cheaper product or service. They can do this by cutting corners and using inferior materials and providing poor service. Those customers who avail themselves of that provider’s products or services are that provider’s responsibility.

You may not be aware that some “new” cartridges you purchase are sometimes recycled.
